Arom Choi is a South Korean independent filmmaker based in the U.S. Southwest. She earned an MFA in Film Directing from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). In 2024, she was one of three awardees of the CJ & Toronto International Film Festival K-Story Fund for her latest feature script, Sunset Burns With No Answer. Her latest short film, Soledad, screened at the 2023 St. Louis International Film Festival and the 2024 Minneapolis–St. Paul International Film Festival.
